Are dental implants as good as real teeth?

-Implants have become stable and durable and can be just as good and solid as real teeth. 

Is the procedure painful?

-With local anesthesia, the surgery associates with dental implants is painless.  Most of our patients report that they feel better than anticipated. Patients will return to work and daily activities next day. There can be some discomfort and bruising that typically lasts a short time. 

Can my child get implants?

-Dental implants are performed once the child’s facial growth and development has been completed. 

Aground age 16 for girls and 18 for boys. 

How do I care for my dental implants?

-Same way you would for your natural teeth: brush, floss, and visit your dentist regularly.

Why are dental implants better than bridges?

-Bridges require shaving down other teeth, very often healthy teeth. They are more difficult to clean and care for and will need to be replaced about every 10 years.
